This weeks AMFisH fishing vlog – tips to consider when running a vlog.

Hi AMFisHers!  This weeks AMFisH fishing vlog is about knowing the applications when it comes to doing a vlog series: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ye_04EGr9C4

This is a short video about running a vlog where I talk about some key things that apply to my vlog series.  It took shooting quite a few vlogs to figure out what all the obstacles I was going to face shooting videos in nature.

Battling things like intense strong winds, bad sound quality of a video camera, waves, tripods falling over, bad natural light, storms rolling in you name it when shooting out in the elements you never know what will be brought your way.

The key thing is to find solutions to every single obstacle in front of you, example I battled serious winds that were drowning out my voice, after some serious thinking I could have spent a lot of money on one of the best video cameras on the market OR think about it a little more and make a windsock for very little money.

After making the windsock and using it my issue with my voice being drowned out was completely gone.   Second issue with the tripod falling over again a simple solution added a weight bag on the lower end to stabilize it better.

Key thing is when you have the drive you will always find a way around the obstacles and this also applies to various other life situations.

Hope you found some value in this vlog, see you next time!

This weeks AMFisH fishing vlog – lipless crankbaits.

Hi AMFisHers!   This weeks AMFisH fishing vlog is about lipless crankbaits: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JKxwnsRhGRk

Lipless crankbaits have been catching me all species of fish for many years now, these are a must bait in every tackle box!

If you are not familiar with these baits they have no plastic lip on the front for making the bait dive to different depths, BUT this does not mean you can’t fish these baits at different depths because you can.

You can fish them shallow or deep by simply retrieving slower, holding your rod tip down, pausing the bait and letting it dive down, adding a weight you name it this bait can do everything you need it to do.

There are many manufactures off these baits Strike King and Rapala to name a few, with some really cool colour patterns and designs.  Many of these baits have lots of rattles in them, this comes in handy when sound and vibrations come into play, as you can hear some of these baits from several feet away from the boat.

All around great baits and I can’t say enough about having some of these in your tackle boxes, they will definitely help you land fish.

Hope you found this vlog helpful.
